Nathan Yates, Founder
Nathan Yates has been fascinated by technology and finance since he was young. He was the kid devouring the business section of the newspaper (remember those?) while others read everything else. Nathan believes that the American economy is built from the bottom-up, meaning that small businesses and local nonprofits are the foundation of our nation's success. These organizations are the lifeblood of towns and cities across the U.S. Unfortunately, most consulting firms overlook companies or organizations that don't have eight-figure budgets. Nathan thought Forward View Consulting should be different. And we are.
Nathan works with each client to deliver only the best consulting services. Nathan's years of technology experience and his business degrees ensure that professional expertise is brought to each project. Our network of contacts can offer additional specialized guidance if needed.
Before creating Forward View Consulting, Nathan worked for an independent equity research firm as a Research Associate covering the industrial and energy sectors. This work involved preparing quarterly 15-40 page reports on multi-billion dollar corporations along with timely analysis of M&A activity and industry-wide news.
Nathan earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating summa cum laude. He then earned a Master's degree in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University, where he was named the Outstanding Student in his particular concentration. Now, Nathan is an adjunct professor teaching economics and finance for his alma mater.
In his spare time, Nathan enjoys fishing, reading, time with family and serving as a volunteer webmaster for the Clintwood United Methodist Church.
Jamie Brown, Content Strategist
Jamie Brown works with Forward View clients who need professionally-written websites and marketing materials. She's also an all-around creative genius who knows how to make every project look classy and contemporary. We're very happy that she makes time to apply her talents to our most interesting challenges.
When Jamie isn't working, you can find her exploring the Pacific Northwest. (Her photography is awesome!) Jamie also completed her B.A. in Communications through Southern New Hampshire University (with an absurdly high GPA).
Fred Campbell, Research Analyst
Fred has been working in the Defense sector for over 30 years and is beginning a new career as a Research Analyst as he is nearing retirement from the engineering profession. He has been investing in stocks and bonds since he graduated from college and this interest led him to obtain a Master's in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. He also holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Alabama as well as an MBA from Alabama A&M.
Kerri Costello, Graphic Designer
Kerri Costello is our artistic expert, and her logos and images can be found in many Forward View website projects. Clients often remark that they can't decide on a logo design from one of the multiple ideas that Kerri presents. Why? The client loves them all! That's the only difficulty we appreciate here at Forward View.
Kerri is a graduate of the Hussian School of Art in Pennsylvania, where she earned multiple awards for her work. (We're not surprised at all.) She can typically be found drawing something or spending time with her fantastic family.
Marcello Nesta, Director of Institutional Sales
Marcello graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Turin, Italy, and then accumulated experience in the investment field both at the buy- and sell-side. Specifically, he worked at a close-end fund management company in Italy. Then he moved to Switzerland, joining a boutique corporate finance firm, where he worked on a number of transactions across Europe and the US. At Forward View, his mission is the development of the customer base and the timely response to clients' inquiries.
Living in a multi-lingual country, Marcello speaks German and French in addition to English and Italian. In his spare time, Marcello enjoys taking part in charity events as well as cooking for friends and family. He is a rookie golfer and an expert skier.
Michael Williams, Research Analyst
Michael Williams provides coverage of golf stocks for our Sporting Goods Monitor research product. He's a golf industry expert with experience in auditing, planning and business analysis. Forward View is pleased to share Michael's financial modeling, forecasts and field research with our institutional clientele.
Michael earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University, where he graduated with multiple honors and is now a Master's in Finance candidate. He has also completed additional studies in Econophysics and speaks conversational German. When not creating spreadsheets or reviewing charts, Michael enjoys playing golf, volunteering and spending time with his wonderful family.
David Wilson, Research Analyst
David Wilson provides high-quality research and analytical contributions to our investment reports. His ability to decipher complex financials improves every project he helps to develop. David's experience with our research methodologies is equally valuable.
David has earned four, yes, four, degrees. His most recent accomplishment is an M.B.A. from Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business. He also holds a B.S. from Southern New Hampshire University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude (and studied with our founder). When not working or studying, David enjoys spending time with his daughter and in the great outdoors.
Grace Wu, M.S.F., Consultant
Grace Wu is an incredibly creative designer and photographer who also possesses excellent business skills. Sometimes we wonder what she can't do! We're beyond excited to have such a multi-talented professional on the Forward View team.
Grace completed a B.S. from Southern New Hampshire University and continued her education with website development studies. She has recently earned her Master's in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. When not working, she enjoys photography and time with her kids.
